KRAs, which stands for Key Responsibility Areas, are the high-level areas of work that an employee is accountable for. They define the exact tasks and outputs that an employee is expected to perform in order to fulfill the organizations goals. KRAs are typically defined for each job position and are used to measure employee performance during the performance management process.
KRAs in Performance Management: Employees are set KRA goals at the beginning of the performance cycle. These goals are then reviewed and evaluated at regular intervals, such as quarterly or annually. Employee performance is assessed based on how well they have achieved their KRA goals.
