PEER TO PEER REVIEW
Peer-to-Peer Review
When employees evaluate the performance, abilities, strengths, flaws, and overall work ethic of their coworkers, the process is called Peer-to-peer review. This process is different in every company. It often involves colleagues who interact on a regular basis and rate one another. The evaluation process can be made fair and consistent with standardized criteria and procedures.
Common Peer-to-Peer Approaches
- Simple Review: This informal method involves individual or group reviews, with the reviewer's identity remaining anonymous or disclosed according to company policy.
- Inspection Review: This more rigorous approach requires additional effort and resources, often used for in-depth analysis of an individual's strengths and weaknesses.
- Team Review: A group of colleagues collectively assesses a single employee, discussing and reaching a consensus on their evaluation.
